Energy advice service funded for 3 years from BGET

Energise Sussex Coast and HARC are delighted to receive three year funding from the British Gas Energy Trust (BGET) for our energy and welfare benefits advice project.

Through the project residents in East Sussex can access free, impartial energy and benefits advice. Our service helps people to bring down bills, save energy, tackle debts and access support.

Energise Sussex Coast and Hastings Advice and Representation Centre (HARC) had previously been recipients of the BGET Covid support fund but have now been accepted into the main awards programme. Kate Meakin from Energise Sussex Coast says

“We are so pleased to receive multi year funding for our energy advice service. This enables us to provide residents with a reliable, year round service. This is especially vital at this time of soaring energy prices and many families at crisis point of not being able to afford ever rising energy and living costs.”
