The call for evidence is a key opportunity to shape the future of our electricity system and markets in order to incentivise the required level of investment in wind, solar and flexibility in the coming decade.
The event will bring together BEIS with leading developers and investors to debate the key questions in the call for evidence for investors in clean energy, including:
Can non-Contract for Difference backed projects obtain revenue from wholesale and other markets, and secure investment?
What will be the effects of increased low-carbon deployment on renewable capture prices?
Should the government be sending clearer signals about the location of renewable energy projects or pairing them with flexible assets?
