Making local energy to benefit local people @ The Palace, 37 White Rock, Hastings
Jun 28 @ 7:00 pm – 9:30 pm

Hastings is one of the sunniest places in the UK, this gives us a real opportunity to create our own energy through solar pv.

Locally owned renewable energy ensures local choices and local control: we can keep money in our local economy, our bills more affordable and reduce the need for fossil fuels.

Join us for fascinating presentations by leading pioneers and practitioners to hear about community owned energy and the great potential we have locally, followed by a panel and audience discussion.

Speakers will include:
Richard Watson – Energise Sussex Coast
Kayla Ente – Brighton and Hove Energy Services Co-op (BHESCo)
Ollie Pendered – Community Energy South

Retrofit Works : Transforming The Built Environment of Sussex @ The Linklater Pavilion
Jun 30 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
Retrofit Works : Transforming The Built Environment of Sussex @ The Linklater Pavilion | England | United Kingdom

Introducing a new system for cooperation

Retrofitworks is an innovative software tool that facilitates collaboration between developers, builders, architects and tradespeople around Sussex.

With 1000s of homes in the area falling below Energy Band D, there is a tremendous amount of retrofit work to be done.

The goal of this event is to bring together the construction industries of Sussex to demonstrate a new way of working together. Only through cooperation can we transform the out-dated housing stock of Sussex, making all homes fit for the 21st Century.

Leading voices from the industry will make clear the value of the Retrofitworks platform, explaining how involvement will increase leads and contracts and generate a consistent flow of work for your business.

There will also be a suppliers’ marketplace showcasing the latest developments from the retrofit and energy efficiency industries. Entry to the event is free, with a £10 charge if you wish to take on an exhibition stall. Click here to book your stall.

Where the Green Deal has failed, together we will succeed.
