Local SCAM. Please Read
We have been made aware of a worrying scam in the area. A number of residents have informed us of being cold called by a company and being told they have dangerous loft insulation that needs to be removed at a cost of thousands of pounds. This is absolutely NOT the case.
There is no evidence that fibre glass, underfloor loft insulation needs to be removed and it is not dangerous.
If anyone receives a call of this nature offering this service, please put down the phone, it is a SCAM.
